Debbie Laird, Executive Director Debbie has served as Executive Director of Family Promise of Santa Rosa, Inc., since April 2006. She earned a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Counseling at the University of Mobile, AL, in December, 2000. She received her B.A. from Mobile College (University of Mobile), AL, in May, 1980. Her prior experience includes clinical counselor at West Florida Community Care Center and as a substitute teacher in the Santa Rosa School District. She serves on SHIP Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. Past Board experience includes the State Board of Missions, Florida Baptist Convention, and the Pregnancy Resource Center, Milton, FL. She also served as the Senior Adult Director for the Santa Rosa Baptist Association from 1994-1998.
Lisa Winkles, President Lisa is a pharmacist for Walgreens. Her experience includes District Pharmacy Manager (10 years) and District Manager All-Store Operations 2 years, responsible for $33 million in annual sales. She volunteers with the Santa Rosa County Jail Ministry. She resides in Santa Rosa County and attends Pine Terrace Baptist Church.
Larry Kaden, Vice President Larry is a retired Assistant State Attorney and also served as a Florida Assistant Attorney General. During his last five years working for the State, he specialized in child sexual abuse cases and was the First Judicial Circuit's prosecutor assigned to Sexually Violent Predator Civil Commitment cases. He currently has a private practice in Santa Rosa County.
Kay Burns, Treasurer Kay is the CFO of Gulf Breeze Hospital and Andrews Institute. She is a Board Member for the American Cancer Society, Santa Rosa Unit; on the Finance Committee of Pine Terrace Baptist Church, and has been involved with Relay for Life, EscaRosa Workforce Development; and the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. Kay attends Pine Terrace Baptist Church.
Sylvia Streeter, Secretary Sylvia retired from Santa Rosa County District Schools, where she served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She volunteers as a mentor for young students and attends Olive Baptist Church.
Paula Lou Mapoles Paula Lou is a community leader with leadership positions in many local organizations, including GFWC Milton Woman's Club, Santa Rosa Education Foundation, Santa Rosa Medical Center Women's Advisory Council, Santa Rosa Unit/American Cancer Society, Milton Relay for Life, Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival and The Little Red Schoolhouse Teacher Supply Depot. She is a member of Mae Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church.
Stephanie Payne Stephanie has eight years of experience in retail sales including six years in management. She has a degree in Communication/Public Relations from the University of West Florida and experience in customer service and management. She is a member of
First Baptist Church of Milton.
Gary Nichols Gary is the Associate Pastor and Minister of Education at First Baptist Church of Milton. He reprents FBC of Milton at the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, and he previously held the position of Commissioner on the Governor’s Commission on Marriage and Family Support Initiatives. He is a member of the Association of Baptist Ministries with the Aging, the National Association of Family Ministers, the Baptist Association of Christian Educators and the Florida Baptist Religious Education Association. Gary received his Doctor of Education Ministry in May 2010. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Milton.
Dana Harrison Dana is the Financial Director for Baptist Medical Group. She volunteers at various Baptist Health Care sponsored events, such as Andrews-Paulos Research & Education Institute research studies, Escambia County and Santa Rosa County high school sports physicians, and YMCA corporate cup games. She resides in Santa Rosa County and has a passion for helping people.
Janis Merritt Janis is retired from McMahon-Hadder Insurance. She is involved in Milton Relay for Life, Santa Rosa Medical Center Women’s Advisory Council and the Transplant Olympics. She is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she served as the church’s first Family Promise Coordinator. Janis is currently in charge of their Wednesday night suppers.
Toni Hadder Toni is retired from the Santa Rosa County School System where she served as a teacher for 30 years. She previously volunteered with Santa Rosa Kids House and “Heart for the City,” a homeless outreach and food program in Escambia County. Toni is a new member of the Ladies Auxillary Council for Santa Rosa Medical Center. She attends Gateway Church of Christ in Pensacola and is in charge of the HOME (Homeless Outreach of Ministry and Evangelism) program at the church.
